Modesto East Rotary Club Blue Badge Requirements
All new Modesto East Rotary Club members are given a temporary red badge when they join. Once you complete the requirements detailed below you will then earn the Blue Badge. The significance of having the blue badge shows that you have taken the time to learn about the club, Rotary International as well as participating in service projects and ditrsict events. All of which helps make you a good ambassador for Rotary and all the great things it does locally and around the world.
1) VISIT ANOTHER CLUB
- Go to any Rotary club regular meeting in our district.
- Attend a fund raising event hosted by another Rotary club.
2) BRING A GUEST TO A MEETING
- Someone that would be interested in learning more about Rotary and the benefits of membership.
3) GO TO A DISTRICT EVENT
- Attend a District Training Seminar (held twice a year)
- Attend the District Conference
- Go to the Foundation Dinner (held once a year)
4) PARTICIPATE IN A CLUB ACTIVITY
- Reading to elementary school students
- Annual 3rd grade dictionay distribution project
- Annual fund raiser (Wine Soiree)
5) GO TO A BOARD MEETING
6) DO A VOCATIONAL TALK AT OUR CLUB
- 5-15 min talk consisting of your bio and your profession
7) GET A SPEAKER
8) GET ROSTER SIGNED
- This is a good way to learn about the members
9) ATTEND THREE COG CLUB MEETINGS
- Meetings are held once a month on the last Tuesday from 5:15-6pm at Hero's/ St. Stans in Modesto.
