Hello fellow club members,
I am trying the new newsletter creator and hoping this works out.
We had a great meeting today. Most of our members were present and we had 5 visitors from MO RO (as they like to be called). Former member, Kevin Hawes, was our speaker and gave a great presentation.
Recognitions: Robert Farrace got a year older last week. Old age caused him to confess other details and donate a $100.
Carol Wilson confessed to a birthday, anniversary, and Dennis' birthday. She is so excited with all the wonderful events that she donated $150.
Sandy Wild was pleased to confess that her husband was elected to the MID board. She donated $50.
Tom Weimer was recognized because Jon Theisen wanted to fine him. Tom told a good joke and donated $50.
Garry Browning was offered up by a fellow member for being in the Modesto Bee. His family was one of three mentioned in an article on life in big families. Garry donated $10 for everyone of his children.
Announcements: We are launching a new membership campaign which looks like it will be loads of fun. Jon Theisen, Andrew Mendlin, and Patty Lea will be sending out more information. Bottom line, start inviting prospective members to our club.
Meeting Location: We will be meeting at Appetez...but today we met across the parking lot in their new Banquet room. We should be in our regular room again next month.
From our web calendar: We will be dark next week, December 9th. Our holiday social will be on December 11th.
December 16th we will be offsite at Round Table for our annual pizza meeting.
Dark December 23rd.
Dinner meeting December 30th at Appetez. It is the 5th Wednesday of the month.
